BFMD Episode 196 – Spicy Series in Chicago

Summary

Doug Eddings is an awful umpire. 

Justin and Patrick go off on what was the worst called game of the 2022 season, and start a GoFundMe to get Doug Eddings laser eye surgery. 

The guys then briefly review the rest of the series with the White Sox before previewing the Brewers starters for the weekend. 

BFMD Episode 195 – Home Run Cycle Salvages Series

Summary

The Blue Jays managed to salvage the third game of the series against the mighty Yankees over the weekend. Pitching was the key difference in the first two games with the Yankees holding the Jays to a combined 3 runs. 

Justin and Patrick preview the upcoming trip to Chicago for 3 games against a White Sox team that now has both Lance Lynn and perhaps Tim Anderson back and healthy. It should be a fun series!

Another disappointing weekend of Blue Jays baseball has come to an end. The team dropped two of three to the Rays and now returns home for a series with Seattle. 

The good news is that the team has everyone from their Opening Day lineup back minus Cavan Biggio, so hopefully a consistent lineup will help them heat up.
